Visual Description
Aedes riparius is a mosquito species. Due to the limitations of available photographic records, detailed morphological traits such as specific scale patterns or wing venation cannot be definitively resolved from the current dataset imagery.[1]
History and Classification
Aedes riparius was described by Dyar and Knab in 1907.[2] The original description was published in the Journal of the New York Entomological Society.[2] It is also recognized within the subgenus Ochlerotatus.[3]
