Distribution
Aedes pullatus (Coquillett, 1904) is a mosquito species with a broad distribution. Historically, it has been recognized as having two distinct populations: an eastern population found in northern Quebec and Labrador, and a western population in Alberta, British Columbia, and the Yukon.[2] A 2012 survey extended the known range of the eastern population westward with a record from northern Ontario, Canada.[2]
Visual Description

The wings are narrow and membranous, often showing distinct venation patterns. The thorax and abdomen are typically covered in scales that contribute to the overall coloration, which can appear dark or brownish in many individuals.[1]
