Visual Description
Aedes hexodontus exhibits the characteristic morphology of the family Culicidae. Aedes hexodontus is a species of mosquito first described by Harrison Gray Dyar in 1916.[2] It is recognized as an accepted species within the genus Aedes.[2] The species was originally described from specimens collected in the mountains of California.[2]
