This page represents the following TreeOfLife-200M taxonomic path.[1]
Aedes condolescens is a mosquito species. Based on observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, the adult exhibits typical culicid morphology, including a slender body, long legs, and a pair of wings.[1] Due to the limitations of the available photographic material, finer diagnostic morphological traits such as specific scale patterns on the thorax or abdominal banding cannot be definitively resolved.[1]
Aedes condolescens was described by entomologists Dyar and Knab in 1907.[2] It is currently recognized as an accepted species within the genus Aedes.[2]
