Visual Description

Biology and Ecology
Aedes campestris was described by Dyar and Knab in 1907.[2] Ecological data indicates that this species has been observed visiting flowers of plants in the family Orchidaceae.[3] Additionally, it has been documented as a host for certain viruses, such as the Vesiculovirus malpais.[3] The species is also sometimes referred to by the synonym Ochlerotatus campestris.[3]
