The thorax and abdomen are generally dark-colored, often appearing black or dark brown, with a smooth, somewhat shiny cuticle. The wings are typically clear or lightly infuscated, and the legs are slender, sometimes showing specialized structures or coloration patterns characteristic of the family.[1]
Adriapontia is a genus of flies in the family Sepsidae. It was described by the entomologist A. L. Ozerov in 1996.[2]
