Visual Description
Admontia maculisquama is a species of tachinid fly. Biology and Identification
Admontia maculisquama was described by Johan Wilhelm Zetterstedt in 1859.[2] Like other members of the family Tachinidae, it is a parasitoid.[3] DNA barcoding, specifically using the COI gene, has been employed to assist in the identification of northern European tachinid species, including those in the genus Admontia.[3]
