The species Adelidea anomala is a member of the family Bombyliidae, commonly known as bee flies. While specific morphological traits could not be resolved from the available dataset imagery due to access restrictions, members of the genus Adelidea generally exhibit characteristics typical of the family, such as a robust, often hairy body and specialized mouthparts adapted for nectar feeding.[1]
