Visual Description
Based on observations of museum specimens in the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, Adachia williamsi exhibits the characteristic morphology of the family Dolichopodidae.[1] The specimens display a slender, elongated body typical of long-legged flies. Adachia williamsi was originally described as Eurynogaster williamsi by Hardy and Kohn in 1964.[2] It is currently recognized as an accepted species within the genus Adachia.[2]
