Ablautus rufotibialis
Ablautus rufotibialis is a species of robber fly in the family Asilidae. It was described by E.A. Back in 1909.[1] The species is sometimes referred to by the common name "Texas Prospector".[1]

Visual Description
As a member of the family Asilidae, Ablautus rufotibialis exhibits the characteristic predatory morphology of robber flies.
